What is Golf 4 Youth?

The Vancouver Golf 4 Youth Society is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to making golf more accessible for young players across the city. We recognize that tournament fees, often exceeding $100 per round , can make the sport exclusive to those who can afford it.

To change that, we partner with First Tee and Musqueam Golf Course to host affordable youth tournaments, with entry fees ranging from $20 to $75. All proceeds from these events are donated to a designated charity chosen for each tournament.

Over the past year, we’ve hosted four tournaments, raised over $7,000 for local charities, and partnered with brands such as TaylorMade, Pacific Sunday Golf, and Domino’s Pizza.

Our Goal

At Golf 4 Youth, our goal is to make golf more affordable and accessible for youth across Vancouver. We believe that every young player should have the chance to compete and grow in the sport regardless of financial background.

By partnering with First Tee and Musqueam Golf Course, we host low-cost youth tournaments where all proceeds are donated to local charities. Through these events, we aim to grow the game, build community, and inspire the next generation of golfers to give back through sport.

 FAQs

  • You can sign up by filling out the Google Form, which is located in the top-right corner of our website. You can also scan the QR code found on our posters, or access the form directly through our Instagram, where it will be attached in posts and stories.

  • Payment can be made in cash on the day of the tournament or via e-transfer before the event.

    E-transfer details and instructions will be provided after registration is confirmed.

  • Each tournament entry includes:

    • 18 holes of golf at the designated golf course

    • Complimentary food and drinks for all participants

    • A free goodie bag with gifts from our sponsors

    • The chance to win prizes for top performers and special contests (like longest drive or closest to the pin)

  • Tournaments will be hosted at different local golf courses around Vancouver. In order to receive more information about the exact location, please register and further information will be then emailed to you.

  • Yes! Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in the overall low gross category. Additionally, Golf Town gift cards will be given to the winners of each KP (Closest to the Pin) and Long Drive competition
